The Basics of Reiki
After a fasting retreat on Mount 3 weeks Kumara in Japan in the 1920s, Mikao Usui developed Reiki. Two symbols Japanese form the word Reiki, which is Rei, who is Spirit and Ki which is life force. Therefore, the practice of Reiki is the channeling of the energy of Spirit universal life force. This is the Reiki practitioner extends over their hands to channel this energy in the receiving corps. During a Reiki treatment, the receiver lies fully clothed on a bed, the doctor will contact soft along several parts of the body. There are times when the flow channels power without having to touch the body. Some professionals have a distance of only a few inches away from the body. Note that no it is advisable to stop any form of treatment instead of Reiki treatments, as it is not intended as a substitute for any form of treatment.
